LEARNER ECOSYSTEM STUDIES
ECOStudy visits schools to conduct relevant curriculum-based practical activities with the learners.
The most popular activity is an in-field ecosystem study. This is either conducted within the school grounds or in walking distance of the school.
The learners are divided into small groups and each group is given :
- picture ID charts of the organisms they are likely to find during the study;
- a field guide booklet with information on these organisms;
- a worksheet to record their observations.
